Just a week shy of 4 years since I shot this. Herbal Affair in Sand Springs. One of the best photos I ever took of my dad, and one of the last outside of a hospital. Life is weird and it keeps on going.
awkward guessing the metering in the driving snow, march 2009, that crazy great snow that melted almost immediately after dropping 6 inches in short order. went for a walk with cameras. still have a roll that shaun shot from that day undeveloped, which is kind of a magical thing to anticipate. our cameras and shaun’s beard accumulated about an inch of snow on this excursion.
